New Telephone system

We have introduced a new telephone number and system to make contacting us easier, we have occasionally been unable to take calls because of a shortage of trained staff, hopefully with our new system we will be able to avoid missing any calls.

I will not pretend to be able to be in 2 places at once but hopefully if the system works as hoped you will be informed when we are not available be it on another line or in the despatch room.

As with all new things it will take a little time to get used to it so please have patience while we get up to full speed.

The new number is 08443 575 891, please let me know if you have any problems.

Temporary closure of Marked For Life Limited Offices due to illness

I am taking this opportunity to advise you that Marked For Life Limited Offices were closed last week without notice due to staff illness, all members of staff were taken ill including myself.

I have not yet fully recovered but have returned to ensure all orders are shipped ready for Christmas, I am currently the only member available and will be completing all other staff members rolls on a daily basis, although this will add delays I have still anticipated getting all goods out by the middle of the week latest.

I have created an enquiry ticket system to answer all of your questions as I will be unlikely to cover the phones as well as process orders, we have had troubles with emails going missing so if you need any help please use our ticket system that is located here.

A ticket will remain open on this system until answered, I will attend as soon as I possibly can to each and every one of them.

I would like to apologise it is not a perfect system but we need to ensure all your questions are answered and due to our current circumstances this is our best option.

Thanks for your understanding

Regards

Steve

Panic alarm, when and which to use

As you can see there are a selection of panic alarms, all alarms can be used successfully in almost any situation, we only supply the best so purchasing through us you can be sure that you will be getting the best panic alarm available, we refuse to let our standards slip to compete with price for the others available on the market rest assured your security is safe in our hands.

For general use I would recommend the mini minder alarms, as the name suggests they are mini alarms so don't take up a great deal of room, these can be kept in you handbag or attached to your bag when you are out, ideal to take to night clubs when you may have a smaller bag and may be vulnerable walking home afterwards.
When attached to your handbag hold the string ready to be pulled if you need to use it, this also doubles up as a bag snatch deterrent, if someone takes your bag you automatically pull out the pin and the thief runs off with a bag with a sounding 140dB siren attached to it, this will draw unwanted attention to them and provide many witnesses on their escape route.

The bodyguard 999, black knight, white knight and bright knight alarms can be used in a similar situation but are more bulky.

The trident alarm is ideal for identifying an attacker after an incident, it is more difficult to physically activate the alarm compared to just pulling a string but may be useful for the police to link someone to the crime scene, use of this and the benefits with it are personal preference, this may well prevent future attacks of you and other people if attackers are caught.

The Reacta and Trigga alarms are ideal to be used in situation where you are regularly exposed to potentially dangerous situations, they are more bulky than the mini minder alarms but have extra safety devices built in, they are designed to be comfortable when in your hand and easy trigger activation, the Reacta can also be set so that it activates if dropped, this will protect you when you are caught unaware from behind or without warning from a passer bye.

All alarms are personal preference, one that suits you may not suit another, you may feel that the size of the black knight gives you more confidence and is worth more than the mini minder, you may find a light weight small alarm that still packs a punch more convenient for returning from regular nights out in which case the mini minder is a very good choice.

Remember an alarm is there to protect you it will not work if left on top of the freezer or mantle piece at home, get used to taking it with you and be protected all the time.

You have 30 days to test your panic alarm to see if it is suitable for you, if not you can return it for a refund or exchange for a different type.

Aerosol panic alarms

Aerosol panic alarms are small pressurised cans that produce a sound when the gas is released by pressing the top.

Although you need to perform a physical action to activate these alarms there is still a use for this type of device due to the fact that other agents can be added to the propelant.

Again we only sell the best aerosol alarms available these are listed here in no particular order.

TRIDENT Personal Attack Deterrent
Gas operated keyring alarm
Slimline 999 gas alarm

There are other aerosol alarms available that have different uses we can supply these but we feel the range we supply is adequate to cover most needs.

Our gas panic alarms are activated by pressing the top this allows the gas to escape and is directed through the specially designed cap that produces a sound, with the exception of the keyring alarm the caps can lock into place when activated, this ensures the alarm is still effective when dropped on the floor.

The Trident panic alarm contains an ultraviolet identifier and a foul odour, this is particularly useful for identifying the attacker after the event, the uv marker and foul odour is difficult to remove and can remain on the skin even after washing.

I had a Trident tester and took it to a business that I often used, I let the guys look at it and advised that it should not be pressed unless outside, of course guys being guys didn't listen and one tested it inside, The cap locked on and the chap who activated it was franticly trying to remove it again and was covered in the identifier and "smelly stuff" (for want of a better word) you should have seen the office staff head for the exit like a stampede of charging buffalo or the MOD staff at home time. they left the doors open for 20 minutes and managed to venture back in.

There is also another gas alarm that uses another unique identifier, this is unique to each alarms and can be used as positive identification of a suspect to the scene of the crime. its called the DNA personal alarm and can be order if required, please call if interested.

The keyring gas alarm is cheap and can be attached to your keyring, it has failed on me when demonstrating it to customers so we tend not to promote it to highly.

Thats all for now keep coming back and we will give you advice when each type of alarm should be used shortly.
